Scholarships for Future Pastors and Teachers
To assist students graduating from 12th grade in preparing for ministry as pastors and educators in the Seventh-day Adventist system. This scholarship-to-employment program will help reduce the cost of education and provide a pathway to employment with mentorship, training, and job placement opportunities within the Pacific Union Conference.

APPROVAL PROCESS

Submit the completed Growing Young Leaders Application form with attachments to your local conference by May 31.

Two applications from each local conference will be recommended to the Pacific Union Conference. Typically, one for a pastor and one for a teacher will be awarded. Fourteen scholarships will be awarded each year.

Scholarship funds will be automatically sent directly to the Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher education once enrollment verification is received from the institution each fall.

After graduation, employment assistance will be provided with the intent to employ the sponsored student within the local conference or Pacific Union Conference.

Upon employment, the Growing Young Leaders team will provide additional post-placement follow-up for the next two years.
